Dierks Bentley Red Bank reviews
Best Concert I've Attended!
Dierks Bentley & his band put on an awesome show July 30th (2022) at Harvey's Outdoor Arena, Lake Tahoe. This had been a twice canceled show (due to covid & then area fires). So the crowd was highly anticipating it, and the band was eager to finally be able to perform. The mood was happy & carefree. They were ready to entertain & we were ready to be entertained. Dierks & his band were high energy which spread through the crowd. They played non-stop for 2.5 hours with heart, soul, humor & fun! You can tell this band loves playing music and loves playing it together. Overall, this was probably the best concert I've ever attended!
People crashing pit
Hi there
I’m hoping you will give me the opportunity to vent regarding the Dierks concert. Start by saying incredible show as always by Dierks.
First , I know it won’t and can’t do anything about the concert and I would post on montage fb page but won’t allow me to do that with my concerns.
I have been to montage a few times before, so I know what to expect regarding the traffic and parking. Where ever you go for a big concert that is expected but I do feel the parking situation is worse at montage than any other venue I goto. That being said I know what to expect and it is what it is, expect it to be crazy to get out of the parking lot.
I goto many concerts a year (haven’t missed a guitar and stars, one of my favorite events) and I’m 60 and not the average age of the concert goers and I’m in the pit for the show on Saturday. I know in the pit you can expect some people inthe crowd to get a little out of hand at times and some crowding and pushing but again as expected in the pit. I know what to expect and chose to get pit tickets.
Here was my main point that I felt live nation was in the wrong and totally at fault. Many, many people started to jump the barriers and get in the pit.. yes security did attempt to catch and remove these people from the pit. The people they were able to do this with was far a few between . Yes, people should know this is wrong and unacceptable but I also feel security should of done a better job anticipating this. Security allowed the people in the seating areas to fill up the aisle was all the way down to the barriers. Mistake number one. Security did not have personal placed in the pit at aisle ways where just a shorter temporary barrier was placed. Mistake number 2. And finally some fans were just rushing past personal checking for wristbands. , I felt so bad for the young girl about 110 pounds trying to maintain order and keep people out of the pit. Mistake number 3.
Thank you for letting me vent. My goal was to make you aware of the situation and ina objective way get across I anticipated traffics conditions and a rowdy crowd in the pit, but portray how things gout out of hand with neglect of advance planning by security. The people who were working thier posts were doing everything possible to do the right thing.
Again thank you for letting me vent
Great Show!
Never really heard anything by Dierks Bentley before, went with my girlfriend who like him. Dierks puts on a really good show and the music was engaging and well done.
One quibble was his opening act Cadillac Three was unnecessarily loud, turning it down would have meant less distortion and maybe even understand the lyrics. Another quibble, Dierks ended his show with a performance by his Hot Country Nights alter ego, and while it’s fun, it’s not as good as his better regular music and that would have been a better ending.
The Laughlin Event Center is a bit cramped, hard to walk through to your seats. Food choices limited, but prices not too bad. Facilities overall were decent. I would go back and more than willing to see Dierks Bentley again.
